“I wish I could come out again because it just felt amazing. And then after that, people coming to me and saying thank you so much for coming out. Because of you, I understand my father better. I understand my sister better. So it’s an important thing to do.
I don’t know, my kids are too young, but I wish they were gay. It is a very special thing. The sensitivity, the way I see now, that I don’t have to hide in any way shape or form. I see colors. And then you see the rainbow. I understand why the symbol is the rainbow. It’s just real. Everything is tangible. It makes me a stronger person.”Ricky Martin speaking to ABC’s Popcorn with Peter Travers about the positive impact coming out had on his life.

Whatever works! The kids will be themselves in America as is their father who seems very happy with his life.

Ricky that’s ok and really cool. I understand. I always wanted to have triplets. 2 boys and a girl. One boy straight. One boy gay and the girl straight. Or twin boys. One gay and one straight. There’s nothing wrong with being gay! Ricky your very modern and very progressive. Heck were actually 40 years late. Gay marriages and all of these gay “good” happenings should have been 40 years ago but AIDS and crack messed up everything in USA. But we’re all right. I told my parents I was different when I was 5 years old. Then as I grew I understand stood myself. I’m 57 years young now and so far it’s been a wonderful life! I had the best parents too. My parents were so loving. Amazing that I had the best and lucky also……from what I’ve seen these last 50 years. Ricky Martin is a great dad and human being. A world treasure and a lot a people should use him for an example on how to be a loving good person here on earth.
